Honor Group is one of the developers in Pattaya that has grown from the well-known gold shop business, Yong Gold Shop, Pattaya, which has been operating for nearly 40 years. The company has since expanded into the hotel business, starting with small hotels and resorts, and has now launched 4-star hotels under the brands XQ Pattaya, T Pattaya. Four years ago, they acquired over 4 rai of land along Pattaya Soi 3 to develop a Mixed-use project named "Honor Place Pattaya," which includes a hotel, condominiums, shops, and restaurants all in one area. Recently, they launched the “20 Years Visa Complimentary” campaign for foreign customers purchasing units at ONCE Pattaya who hold a Thailand Elite card, granting them long-stay visa privileges in Thailand for up to 20 years.

Ms. Thida Cherdsuriya, CEO of Honor Estate Co., Ltd., revealed the progress of the Mixed-use project named Honor Place Pattaya, stating that the company is currently developing its first project called ONCE Pattaya on 2 rai of land. This high-rise condominium consists of 32 floors with 427 units, offering room sizes from 28 square meters for studios, 34-34.80 square meters for one-bedroom units, and 51.80-59.80 square meters for two-bedroom units, all fully furnished. The average selling price is between 120,000-130,000 THB per square meter, with over 50% of sales already achieved. Construction has progressed to the 22nd floor, and completion is expected by the end of 2022, with unit transfers to customers anticipated around early 2023.

Regarding the Hilton Garden Hill hotel, the environmental impact report has been approved, and construction is set to begin in early 2022. The hotel will feature a 29-story building with 300 rooms and a ground floor designed for six retail shops, totaling approximately 2,000 square meters of usable space.

Recently, the project has launched a special sales promotion for condominiums starting at 2.98 million THB for studios and 3.49 million THB for one-bedroom units. Additionally, they guarantee a 6% return on investment for three years for customers looking to invest, and they are now accepting reservations for units through digital assets or cryptocurrency in three currencies: BTC, ETH, and USDT. Furthermore, the “20 Years Visa Complimentary” campaign offers additional options for foreign customers interested in purchasing residences in Thailand and applying for the “Thailand Elite” membership card from Thailand Privilege Card Co., Ltd. (TPC), which grants special privileges of the Previlage Elite Visa, allowing long-term residency in Thailand for up to 20 years. It is believed that after the government announced the reopening of the country for foreign tourists and investors, there will be an increase in foreign interest in purchasing condominiums in Thailand, especially in popular tourist areas.

Foreign customers wishing to purchase a unit at ONCE Pattaya can reserve with a deposit of 100,000 THB. The company will then send the customer's documents for qualification verification with Thailand Elite, which takes approximately 1-3 months. Foreign customers must not have a history of being prohibited from entering Thailand and must not have any criminal record.

After receiving qualification approval, customers must sign a contract and pay an additional 40%, which can be paid in four installments. Once the payment is complete, the company will send the information to Thailand Elite again to notify that the customer has signed a purchase agreement, and the visa application process will begin, taking about one month. Customers must bring their passport to apply for a Thai visa at the Thai embassy in their home country.

Mr. Porntep Phanthana, Deputy General Manager of Commercial and Operations at Thailand Privilege Card Co., Ltd., stated that in addition to the privilege of residing in Thailand for up to 20 years, foreign customers can enter and exit Thailand an unlimited number of times, along with special privileges for Thai government document services, convenience in passport presentation and immigration checks, VIP reception from Thailand Elite staff at the airport, and special services from Privilege Members, including discounts for services or products from Thailand Elite partner companies such as limousines, spas, golf courses, shopping malls, and banks.

Especially, for the convenience of passport renewal, if foreigners reside in Thailand for a full year, they do not need to leave the country to renew their passport. They only need to notify the member service center (MCC) of Thailand Elite to extend their visa for another year. However, foreigners must report within 90 days according to immigration law, and they can send a representative or agent to act on their behalf, provided they have the PM 30 document if they own a condominium or lease agreement.

“The visa must be renewed every 5 years, totaling 4 times. Normally, when it is close to the 5-year mark, or about 6 months before expiration, Thailand Elite staff will contact customers to bring their passports for visa renewal at the Immigration Office in Chaeng Watthana. Alternatively, if customers travel out of the country and return to Thailand, they can also renew their visa at Suvarnabhumi Airport's immigration office,”

Mr. Kris Cherdsuriya, Head of Building Control at Pattaya Engineering Office and advisor for the ONCE Pattaya project, added about Pattaya's potential, stating that in the future, Pattaya will not just be a tourist city but will become a center for investment in industry, goods, and finance. This is due to Pattaya being designated as a red zone or commercial area according to the EEC (Eastern Economic Corridor) development plan, a major government mega-project that builds upon the Eastern Seaboard project. There will be significant investment in large infrastructure systems, including air, rail, water, and land, such as the high-speed train project connecting three airports (U-Tapao, Suvarnabhumi, Don Mueang) over a distance of 220 kilometers, with over 90% of the land already delivered for construction.

Recently, a joint construction agreement for the development of Phase 3 of Laem Chabang Port, specifically for Pier F in Chonburi, has been signed. Once completed, Laem Chabang Port will rise to become the 10th most famous port in the world, up from its current 20th position. In the future, Pattaya plans to construct a light rail system to transport passengers traveling on the high-speed train into the Pattaya area, with routes passing through North Pattaya and entering Pattaya Soi 2. Simultaneously, there are plans to bury electrical lines underground in 10 routes, with one route already completed on North Pattaya Road to enhance the aesthetics and living conditions in Pattaya.
